Come join us for a camping weekend with the entertainment of riding and clearing trails.  From C-470 and Santa Fe Drive it is a little over 20 miles and only 30 minutes away.  This is close to the Denver area so you can come for a day if you would like.  The campgrounds are closed at this time of year.  We have special permission from the Forest Service to camp and clear the trails.

Bring your camping gear, horse camping gear, tables, chairs, water and potty.  The outhouse is located in the first parking about .2 miles way from the camp grounds.  There are a couple of horse corrals which are available to the first people who arrive.

Bring your own food, beverages, snacks and something to share for the Saturday night pot luck.

Dogs are allowed for the camping portion of the weekend.  They are not allowed to go with us when trail clearing.

Directions from C-470 and Santa Fe Drive:  Drive south on Santa Fe for about 10.2 miles to CO-67 at Sedalia.  Turn right and go about 10.3 miles to Forest Road 513.   Turn right on F.R. 513 and left into the parking lot.  The gate to the campgrounds will be closed but not locked.  Please close the gate after entering to keep the public out of the campgrounds.
